As Bloggers, How Do You Protect Your Work?

in Content Management

The subject of copyright and content theft is a hot topic for anyone promoting content on the web. Lynn Terry’s recent article about her ongoing frustrations with content theft shows that, and she’s certainly not alone. I spoke with Lynn recently at the Niche Affiliate Marketing System Conference, and she spoke candidly about her intentions for that post – simply to give the blogger in question a little wake-up call. I thought it was brilliant. ;)

Anyway, I read an article today on ProBlogger that I thought I’d share with you. The lines between the various types of copyright can get muddy if you don’t understand how each one works, and this article beautifully explains what copyright is, and how it differs from the Creative Commons Licenses. It’s good stuff.

Go read the article, then come back and share your thoughts here. I’d love to hear what you think.
